Heavy Equipment Operator

Equipment OperatorAlpine Silica, a PF Holdings company based in Willow Park, TX, operates advanced facilities in key U.S. oil and gas regions like Haynesville, Eagle Ford, and Permian Basins. It produces frac sand and provides in-basin solutions to enhance efficiency for top oil and gas producers.The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Loader and other Heavy Equipment. This position operates loaders equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket which is used to transport aggregate or other materials, feed hoppers or chutes, and/or stock pile aggregates.Responsibilities:Operate the Loader and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area.Operate Loader controls to lower and tilt bucket and drive forward to force bucket into bulk material; Move lever to raise and tilt bucket when filled, or to dump material.Ensure a sound understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance.Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the Loader.Train new employees in the safe and efficient operation of the Loader.Attend daily and weekly safety meetings and inspections.Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others.Operate other heavy equipment and perform other related duties as required.Other Requirements:High School Diploma or GED required.Possess Class C Driver LicenseMinimum of 2 years' experience working operating a Loader is preferredMental and Physical Requirements:Able to read, speak and write English.Work performed in a plant environment.
