Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide expert pharmaceutical care in a dynamic home infusion pharmacy specializing in IV and infusion services for patients with acute and chronic medical needs. This per diem position offers the opportunity to work flexible hours while delivering critical support to patients in need of specialized medication therapy.

Responsibilities include:

• Evaluate and process physician orders accurately and efficiently.
• Perform sterile compounding and support cleanroom operations following strict protocols.
• Ensure safe dispensing of medications and infusion-related supplies.
• Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records adhering to federal and state regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain smooth workflow.
• Manage assigned patient caseloads and provide pharmacist coverage as required.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year pharmacy experience; 2+ years clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
• Experience with infusion therapy and/or sterile compounding highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of USP <797> sterile compounding standards.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, time-management, and critical-thinking skills.

Training will be provided to ensure full comfort with the pharmacy’s systems and workflow, enabling you to confidently deliver high-quality care from day one.
