What this job involves:As a Project Manager at JLL, you'll serve as the orchestrator of complex construction and development projects from inception through completion, ensuring every detail aligns with client expectations and organizational standards. You'll be the primary point of contact for clients, translating their vision into actionable plans while managing the intricate dance of schedules, budgets, quality benchmarks, and stakeholder coordination. This role demands a strategic mindset paired with meticulous attention to detail as you guide cross-functional teams through design phases, construction milestones, and final delivery. Your ability to anticipate challenges, communicate effectively across diverse teams, and maintain unwavering focus on project success will be essential as you navigate the complexities of modern construction delivery.What your day-to-day will look like:Manage end-to-end project execution including scope definition, schedule adherence, budget control, and quality assurance while serving as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycleCoordinate cross-functional project teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, seamless communication, and collaborative problem-solvingDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules, budget tracking systems, and risk registers to proactively identify potential issues and implement mitigation strategies before they impact deliveryReview and process contractor submittals, requests for information (RFIs), change orders, and payment applications to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely approvalsConduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, verify adherence to quality control standards, and ensure full compliance with safety regulations and protocolsFacilitate project meetings including design reviews, construction coordination sessions, and client status updates to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged throughout project phasesPrepare comprehensive project documentation, meeting minutes, and status reports that provide clear visibility into project health, milestone achievement, and any emerging risks or opportunitiesMaintain organized project files including drawings, specifications, correspondence, and closeout documentation to ensure audit readiness and support effective knowledge transferRequired qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related fieldMinimum 5+ years of experience managing construction or development projects from initiation through closeoutDemonstrated expertise in project management methodologies, budget control, and schedule managementProficiency with project management software platforms such as Procore, MS Project, or equivalent toolsStrong understanding of construction documents, building codes, and regulatory compliance requirementsExcellent communication skills with proven ability to manage client relationships and facilitate stakeholder alignmentPMP, CCM, or LEED AP certification preferred but not requiredTravel to client sites regularly, with typical travel averaging 50% of work timeValid driver licensePreferred qualifications:Experience managing projects within corporate real estate, commercial development, or institutional environmentsFamiliarity with design-build, construction management at-risk, or integrated project delivery methodsAdvanced proficiency in financial analysis, cost forecasting, and value engineering principlesDemonstrated ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvement initiativesExperience with sustainability practices and green building certification processesThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
