Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference in students' lives as a Speech Language Pathologist for an upcoming school year contract assignment, supporting the success of learners across grades. This opportunity is located near Clermont, FL and will run from August 10, 2026, through May 28, 2027. The school district expects budget approval by June 8th or 9th, with a high likelihood of interviews being scheduled the following week, so timely applications are encouraged.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid professional license required for Speech Language Pathology.
• School-based SLP experience is highly preferred, though candidates without such experience will also be considered.
• Ability to quickly complete a district’s two-part onboarding and credentialing process.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work on-site; VOCO experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech/language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals and district policies.
• Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of communication needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation for services, progress notes, and required district records.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational team discussions.

Anticipated assignment is full-time, with 37.5 hours per week (8-hour days with a 30-minute unpaid break). Caseload details and the number of school assignments will be provided prior to placement.
