Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you'll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll Do:Strong scheduling, planning, organizing, problem solving, time managing, and prioritizing work skillsPlan, direct and coordinate activities of Supplier Performance Team and assist team as neededOversee staff training & developmentExcellent customer service including follow through, time management, planning/organization and prioritizingDrive continuous improvement focused on productivity, uptime, and lead-time reductionFacilitate the compensation planning, performance assessment and employee development planning processesProcure supplies and spare parts to ensure effective and timely maintenance of equipmentLeads meetings with team members discussing variety of topicsDisplays a positive, can-do attitude; maintains composure when faced with difficult situationsProvides guidance and direction to staff including hiring, disciplinary action, staff development, goal formulation and performance reviewProcess Management - Utilize Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and other forms of data analytics to meet or exceed departmental goals, objectives, & forecasting modelsAnticipates maintenance expenditures and provides estimates to forecast and meet budgetary requirementsDevelop and lead a Safety Culture that is consistent with CMC standardsAssist in developing short-term and long-term production goals and capital requirements necessary to facilitate these objectivesEstablish strategies to efficiently and cost effectively maintain or increase production in conjunction with management and division prioritiesDelegate and supervise multiple employees and contractors to accomplish business needs as well as hands-on involvement when the need arisesDemonstrate leadership skills and provide coaching, skills development, guidance and support to team membersWhat You'll Need:Minimum 10 years of related facility and heavy equipment maintenance experienceMinimum 5 years of supervisory experienceThorough understanding of maintenance principles, technologies, machinery. Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and mechanical schematicsStrong computer skills required (good knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Ability to work with the other Managers as a part of the Management TeamAbility to work flexible hours and be available as needed by the businessCMMS experience - SAP a plusAble to estimate labor hours, materials and can visualize the job to be performedStrong communication Skills (verbal, written, listening) including ability to communicate effectively with all levels or organizationAbility to work as a team player in a fast paced environment, with strong work ethic, attention to details and find root causes for issuesExperience with Preventative/Planned Maintenance processes and procedures and ability to develop procedures and schedules preferredAbility to stand for duration of shift; frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs or reaching to work with equipment throughout the entire shiftMinimum 5 years maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience requiredBachelors degree preferredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
