Business Analyst

Business AnalystWe are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our on-site team in San Antonio. This role is critical in bridging the gap between our end users and offshore development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software systems, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to handle support-related interactions directly with users.Key Responsibilities:Gather and analyze business requirements to translate into functional specifications for system enhancements and fixesAct as a liaison between stakeholders and offshore development teams to ensure clarity and alignment on technical solutionsCreate user stories, workflows, process diagrams, and system documentation to support development and QA effortsConduct functional and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate deliverablesIdentify and recommend opportunities for product and process improvement based on support trends and user feedbackPrioritize incoming issues and requestsAssist with training material development and user education as neededQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)4+ years of experience in business analysis, technical support, or a similar role in a software development environmentProven experience communicating effectively between business users and development teamsExperience working with offshore teams and navigating time zone differencesStrong analytical and documentation skillsKnowledge of the insurance claims or adjusting industry is a plusComfortable handling and resolving customer support phone callsCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $75,000-$90,000 annuallyHealth, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchPaid time off and company holidays
