Quality Engineer

Job Overview Quality Engineer – Defense & Aerospace Manufacturing. Location: South Phoenix, 3617 E La Salle St, Phoenix, AZ 85040. Shift: Full time, day shift – onsite required. All employees must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident. Responsibilities Internal Audits Generate and Disposition NCRs RCCA, 8D, 5 Why, Corrective Actions Supplier compliance Audits Training Perform quality reviews of planning of processes Assist in quality clinics, nonconforming material review and disposition Other duties as assigned by leadership Basic Qualifications Good understanding of FAIRS, inspection, PPAP, APQP is required Problem solving in a fast pace environment Good communication skills Ability to work well with a team or independently as needed Minimum 5 years’ experience in aerospace field Must meet US Person requirement due to ITAR Preferred Skills Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, preferably Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Work Environment To qualify for consideration, all candidates must be able to work 40+ hours per week in a fast paced, high-demand, quality environment. All candidates must also have sufficient verbal and written communication skills as well as good problem solving skills.
