JOB TITLE: Parts Delivery Driver

REPORTS TO: Feeder Yard Manager

LOCATION: 49 Hopkins Street Buffalo NY, 14220

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, Saturdays as needed

COMPENSATION: $18-20/hour, based on skills and experience

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and operability of the delivery truck.
• Obeys all traffic laws and follows established traffic procedures.
• Complies with and enforces all safety policies and procedures.
• Observe and report on customer information, including customer buying habits and competitive intrusion.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Fill customer orders and ready them for delivery.
• Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
• Load parts truck in a safe manner, securing all items in the bed of the truck.
• Complete vehicle safety checks per company policy and operates the vehicle within the safety guidelines.
• Presents bill and receipts and collects payment for goods delivered or loaded.
• Pick up parts and equipment from customers and vendors.
• Follow all delivery and pick-up processes and protocol to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Maintains driving record within company requirements.
• Communicate effectively with yard and counter staff.
• Maintains fuel and maintenance log.
• Other tasks/duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Clean driving record.
• Safety Oriented.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Willingness to work.
• Good attendance.
• Must be able to work in a drug free workplace.
