Looking for a nursing role where you can make a real impact while enjoying a consistent schedule and supportive team environment? Southern Health Partners is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Pickens County Detention Center.

In this role, you'll provide direct patient care, build meaningful patient relationships, and work alongside experienced healthcare professionals in a structured, secure setting. Whether you're an experienced correctional nurse or exploring a new specialty, you'll have the support and resources you need to succeed.
What You'll Do
• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, treatments, and nursing assessments
• Monitor patient health and report changes to the Registered Nurse or Provider
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and documentation
• Assist with chronic care, sick call, intake screenings, and emergency response
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and correctional personnel
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while following established clinical protocols

What We're Looking For
• Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Georgia
• Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative healthcare team
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing quality patient care
• Correctional nursing experience is welcomed but not required. We provide comprehensive training for nurses new to correctional healthcare.
