Cloud Architect Everyone is trying to “harness the cloud”, but not everyone knows how. As a cloud computing application architect, you know how to create a cloud-based technical architecture that meets client needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. This is an opportunity to use the latest cloud technologies, improve mission‑critical applications and products, and work with industry leaders to inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the cloud migration process. Responsibilities Develop cloud‑based solutions for some of the nation’s toughest problems. Recommend tools and solutions based on research of the current environment and knowledge of on‑premises, cloud‑based, and hybrid resources. Work with your team to help the client overcome their most difficult challenges in the cloud. Grow your skills in areas such as AI while developing critical systems for the defense industry. Qualifications 2+ years of experience with cloud architecture. 2+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining systems in an enterprise‑scale secure environment. 2+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP. Experience with scripting tools such as Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Experience with IaC such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK. Secret clearance. Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of experience with Cloud Development in lieu of a degree. Ability to obtain a DoD8570 or8140 IAT LevelII Baseline Certification within 30 days of hire date. Nice to Have Top Secret clearance. Cloud Architect or CISSP Certification. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
