Job Title: MRI Technologist (MRI Tech)

Location: Greenwich, CT

Position Summary

MLR Healthcare is currently seeking a qualified and dedicated MRI Technologist to join an established medical facility in the Greenwich, CT area. The ideal candidate is a licensed professional responsible for the safe operation of MRI equipment and the performance of high-quality MRI procedures to assist in patient diagnosis.

Schedule & Compensation

• Shifts: Day and Evening shifts available.
• Compensation: Competitive base pay with shift differentials.

Key Responsibilities

• Imaging Operations: Perform complex MRI imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols to generate high-quality images for radiologist interpretation.
• Patient Care: Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures; explain processes clearly to alleviate anxiety.
• Collaboration: Work closely with medical specialists and radiologists to ensure imaging findings support accurate patient diagnosis and care plans.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to high-quality imaging standards, safety protocols, and radiation safety measures (ALARA principles where applicable).
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily calibration and routine maintenance of MRI equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: High School graduate (or equivalent) AND an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• Certification: Current ARRT (MR) Certification required.
• Licensure: Valid Connecticut State Radiographer License .
• Life Support: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
