Location: Kansas City, MO

Setting: Hospital

Pay Range: 2056.50 - 2159.33

Schedule: 07:00 - 19:00

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: Must have: Cardiac Telemetry or PCU/ICU experience. Read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips. Advanced skills needed: Must have experience with post cardiac procedural care (Ablations, cardiac catheterizations, Post Op Day 1 Open Heart, permanent Pacemaker placements). Must be able to administer and titrate IV medications such as insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone. Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac telemetry or PCU/ICU patients
• Read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips accurately
• Assist with post cardiac procedural care, including Ablations and cardiac catheterizations
• Administer and titrate IV medications as ordered
• Maintain documentation and adhere to unit policies and procedures
