Ensure Preventative Maintenance is completed in a timely manner. Work with director and managers to manage maintenance budgetary items as well as build job scope for future projects. Manage financial obligations for these departments. Also working to schedule and maintain yearly maintenance work for area. Work to establish and maintain a culture of proactive maintenance, analyzing metrics to maximize runtime and efficient operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Plans, organizes, and supervises the maintenance work including Mechanics and I&E Techs. Develops standards and guidelines for staff requirements. Evaluates, trains, and develops staff. Initiates implementation and oversees financial requirements, safety and productivity for direct reports. Prepares and supports required AFEs for maintenance and capital projects. Ensures safety, cost reduction, and productivity remain priorities in completing work assignments. Maintains liaison and coordinates work with other departmental sections and divisions as well as with public and private organizations. Accountable for district regulatory, safety, and budgetary requirements. Requirements Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience. 8+ years of relevant experience Experience in or associated with operations and/or maintenance Knowledge in compression, pipeline, and construction operations is a plus. Preferred Qualifications Mechanical Knowledge of Compressors, Pumps, and other rotating equipment associated with plant process Knowledge of Natural Gas Cryogenic process Working Conditions Usually, normal office working conditions. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
