CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist

Venture Dynamics is looking for CNC Machinists to join our team in support of the local Ship Repair industry in the Norfolk, VA area.

The ideal candidate for this position will have 5+ years as a CNC Machinist and will be able to execute the following:

Set up, program editing, and operation of CNC VMCs or HBMs (Fanuc & Haas controls primarily)
Read and work independently from detailed drawings.
Set up machine tools selecting proper tooling, jigs, fixtures and the correct speeds and feeds for material being machined (Plastic, Steel, Stainless, Aluminum, Brass, NiCu/CuNi, Inconel, Monel, NiALBRZ and other exotics)
The ideal candidate should have experience working in a team environment.

Shift: 1st Shift

Full-Time and Overtime as needed.
