Bartender

• Kiawah Island Club is seeking a Bartender at the beautiful Marsh House to be an ambassador for our mission: TO BE THE FINEST PRIVATE CLUB IN THE WORLD. A Bartender at Kiawah Island Club will excel at applying empathy to every person so they may create and maintain our members' loyalty, while ranking their teammate's needs even higher. A Kiawah Island Club bartender will be an expert at prioritizing to produce efficiency in this fast-paced, multi-faceted, club restaurant.
  Service periods will include Lunch, Brunch, and Dinner
  Candidate Abilities
  
  • Maintains an understanding of the proper steps of service required of all FOH service positions
  • Have a professional knowledge base of classic and creative cocktails
  • Can interpret guest's desires and bring them to life in liquid form
  • Maintain mental athleticism for coordination between the cycles of service of those dining at the bar, and producing the beverages needed in other areas of the restaurant
  • Have a base knowledge and understanding of classic cookery, wine, beer, and cocktails
  • Menu and beverage knowledge is comprehensive and kept current as menus evolve
  • Communicates and listens to effectively deliver accurate messaging to both guests and teammates
  • Derives pleasure from providing hospitality
  • Takes pride in working with a first class team

Skills & Requirements
