Instrument Fitter

Located in Corpus Christi, no per diem. Plans layout, fabricates, assembles, installs and repairs instruments, both electronic and pneumatic, including primary piping and tubing.Responsibilities:Read loop sheets, P&ID's, and blueprintsWork to disassemble and remove instruments and then reinstallPerform tube bending; tube bending in groups; install instrument stands, instrument air headers, instruments, tube tray; screw pipe; deco trace; steam trackingEXPERIENCE rEQUIRED: Instrument Fitter: 2 - 4 years (Required)pHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Constantly perform repeating motions that may include feet, leg, wrists, hands and/or fingersWork that includes moving and/or lifting objects up to 50 pounds, carry at least 30 pounds and up to 150 pounds with helpFrequent movement to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.Ability to operate job related toolsSignificant and sustained periods of standing, walking, bending, squatting and lifting.Will use vision abilities to focus, see short and long distances, colors, depth perception and peripheral vision.Ability to work in hot/cold environments
