Maintenance Technician IIReports to: Facilities Manager Location: Deckers Brands Distribution Center in Mooresville, IndianaThe RoleThe Maintenance Technician II, under general supervision of the Facilities Lead, performs a variety of skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, modification and repair activities in assigned maintenance operational areas which may include buildings, conveyors, electrical and performs related work as required.The job will entail preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of heavy industrial manufacturing equipment and facilities. This position will be working with AC/DC controls, PLC controlled equipment, pneumatics, hydraulic and electricity and with voltages of up to 480 volts. Manage minor projects and plan maintenance work orders. Provide training to lower grade levels. In addition to the technical skills requires the ability to assign work, direct employees, review work performed and documentation on work orders.Your ImpactProvide day-to-day direction to the members of the maintenance team. Inspect work performed by others and review the documentation on work orders.Under general supervision perform skilled and semi-skilled facility maintenance activities including patching and painting walls, patching floors, replacing lights, repair racking, office furniture moves, setups and other facilities related tasks. Under minimal supervision perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities to include troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance on conveyor equipment. Perform minor electrical work such as running conduit and pulling wire. Follow lockout-tag out procedures and other safety and environmental procedures and policies as required.
