Central Sterile Supply Technician

Prepares, distributes and controls sterile and non-sterile supplies, equipment, and instrumentation. Assists the patient care team to provide and maintain customer service focus essential for smooth operations.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Education & Training: High school diploma, with certification as Certified Registered Central Services Technician (CRCST).

Work Orientation & Experience: Previous experience in a Central Sterile Supply Technician position preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

• Must be self-directed and capable to carry out assignments with limited supervision, and will accept responsibility to assist in on-the-job training of new team members.
• Ability to effectively convey verbal and written information.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to respond to emergency situations appropriately.
• Ability to adapt hours of availability to variable and changing needs of the hospital, including all shifts.
• Ability to effectively function as a member of a collaborative team.
• Ability to organize and manage time effectively, setting appropriate priorities.
• Ability to comply with The Joint Commission and OSHA standards.

Benefits

PRN Rotating Shifts Pay Range: $24.00/hr. Flat Rate

Other Compensation (if applicable): Shift Differential
