Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift with a 4x10-hour schedule, from 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM, weekdays, with on-call rotation every 5th weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care to adults and geriatrics in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist in interventional radiology procedures including angiograms, fistulogams, and mechanical thrombectomy.
• Manage pre and post-procedure care for patients undergoing various interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort through effective sedation techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the Cerner charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience, specifically in interventional radiology.
• Current RN license in West Virginia or compact state.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS required; PALS if applicable.
• Experience with endovascular interventions and advanced cardiac care preferred.
