Join our team and help build engineering solutions that change the industry./ppJob Summary:/ppThe Material Handler - Yard is responsible for safely loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the site./ppAdditional Information:/pulliStarting Pay: $22/hr, can be adjusted with experience/liliSchedule: 6:00 PM 5:00 AM Monday through Friday (eventually will be going to 10 4s)/liliThere is a shift premium included/liliThis position does not offer relocation/liliThis position does not offer sponsorship/liliThis position is located in Midland, TX/li/ulpWhat Will You Do:/pulliAt SPM Oil Gas, our primary objective is to provide our customers with excellent engineering solutions through our products and superior customer service/liliUnload, stock and inventory all deliveries/liliAssist with new orders and cycle counts/liliRead and understand standard work and risk assessments/liliExhibits equipment and product understanding/liliCounts, weighs, secures, tags, palletize and stacks materials and maintains accurate records of material movement/liliAssist service operations with pulling and picking parts/liliPerforms other job duties as assigned/li/ulpWhat You Will Have:/pulliMinimum of three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience/liliPrior experience operating a forklift/liliMust be able to become forklift certified within 30 days/liliMust be able to effectively operate hand-held scanner (inventory transaction device) within 30 days/liliAbility to use identification tools (engraver, metal stamps, paint pen) to mark product/liliAbility to read and interpret dimensional drawings/li/ulpTop Candidates will have:/pulliBasic understanding of the warehouse distribution industry/liliExperience/exposure to yard material handling/li/ulpPhysical Demands:/pulliFrequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear/liliRequired to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl/liliMust occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds/liliSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus/liliMust be able to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the department/li/ulpWork Environment:/pulliRegularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles/liliFrequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions/liliOccasionally exposed to high, precarious places and vibration/liliNoise Level: Moderate/li/ulpSummary Pay Range:/pp$19.85 - $26.55/ppCompensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
