Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Burlington, NC.Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:30pmJob ResponsibilitiesPlace orders for supplies from vendors via computer and telephoneLoad and unload supplies from trucks and verify packing slipsReceive and process stock into inventory management systemProcess orders from client offices and patient service centers via phone, fax and emailPrint requisition forms and barcode labels for internal and external clientsPack orders for shipment via various shipping methods such as Fed Ex & UPSResolve all customer concerns efficiently and timelyMaintain inventory control according to company standardsParticipate in scheduled cycle counts and full physical inventoryDeliver supplies to local branches, clients and patient service centers when neededPreferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED3 months or more of experience in a warehouse environment3 months or more of medical or laboratory experienceForklift experienceAdditional Job StandardsKnowledge of inventory control and cycle countsBasic computer knowledge and data entry skillsAbility to work independently and within a team environmentHigh level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitaskAbility to work in a fast paced production environment and meet established turn-around timesStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to handle the physical requirements of the positionFlexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needsMust have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving recordMust be at least 21 years' oldAt Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
