Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

Call: Divided equally among team members, typically two nights/week and every other weekend, as all hours must be covered this includes after hours, weekends and holidays.

Weekends: Being on call from COB Day on Friday to department opening Monday morning. On call includes expectation of arriving to department within 30 minutes of being notified.

Floating: IR and Cardiac Cath Lab work closely and help each other as needed. If not needed in IR, and needed in Cardiac Cath Lab, may be asked to help.

Certs Req: ACLS, BLS, ARRT and LA State License 2 Yrs of Exp Required

Unit will not accept 1st time travelers

Must be over 65 miles (address on drivers license to site address) Must have 2 years experience in specialty for all locations. (New Orleans operating room req. 3 years) **NO CALL IN!** RTO must be on profile and brought up in the interview or there is a high chance offer's will be rescinded. Compact or LA license in hand upon submittal Allied Candidates booked with pending license - Candidate must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing Orientation held 5 days a week References: Not required for submission, however 2 Manager/Supervisor references will be required to obtain clearance to start contract. Please ensure that the NURSYS is up to date (within 4 weeks of submission date). Resources who worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from Ochsner Health System for 1 full year before they can return as travel.
