Position Summary The Financial Analyst plays a vital role in supporting the organization's financial health and strategic decision-making. This position is responsible for preparing monthly program financial records, managing government and private grant accounting, producing financial statements, analyzing budget-to-actual variances, and reconciling revenue. The Financial Analyst will also partner closely with the Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to support organization-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities, helping drive informed decisions and advance the organization's mission. What You’ll Do Supports program accounting closing process Evaluates grant funding expectations and requirements, prepares and submits monthly and quarterly reimbursement requests to funders Provides analytical support regarding budget variances, financial statement accounts, financial performance metrics Leads meetings with program leaders to review departmental financial statements and identify financial risks and opportunities Supports supervisor with key financial planning processes including annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting Provides support to the annual audit process What You Bring Minimum Qualifications/Requirements Ability to develop financial materials that are easily understandable to a variety of audiences General knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Aptitude for problem-solving by assessing situations, collecting, and analyzing information, and proposing effective solutions Strong Microsoft Excel skills Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s Degree 2-5 years of finance and/or accounting work experience, with knowledge of grant management preferred Experience working with financial systems Work experience with monthly and/or annual reconciliations Work experience creating and entering journal entries Why You’ll Love Working at PPL Compensation $75,000.00-$85,000.00 annually/Based on Qualifications Fulltime/Exempt Comprehensive Benefits Health & Dental Insurance Employer-paid Short- & Long-Term Disability and Life Insurance Paid Parental Leave HSA or FSA options Generous PTO & Paid Holidays 403(b) Retirement Plan with Employer Match Provide clinical supervision hours for an MSW level staff person Work-Life Balance & Culture Summer Half-Day Fridays (Memorial Day–Labor Day) Supportive, mission-driven team environment Work that makes a real and lasting impact on families Project for Pride in Living, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
