About the Opportunity

Augusta Health is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Inpatient Advanced Gastroenterology physician to join our expanding Gastroenterology practice located in the picturesque Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. As an Advanced Gastroenterologist, you will thrive in collaborative practice and enjoy the luxury of a state-of-the-art endoscopy suite.

Practice Highlights

\n

\n
• Practice Setting : Inpatient , hospital-based, single-specialty group
\n
• Schedule: 7 days on 7 days off
\n
• Call: 7 days per week 24 hour day call position
\n
• Current Staff: 4 Physicians and 7 APP's in practice
\n
• Clinical Volume : 20+; average annual wRVUs ~9,288
\n
• Endoscopy Center : 6 Procedure Suites and 18 private Patient Prep/Recovery Rooms
\n
• Collaboration: Collegial Medical Staff and large network for gaining new patients. Strong relationship with General Surgery team.
\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• MD/DO with Board Certification in Gastroenterology required
\n
• 1-2 years experience after fellowship required
\n
• Eligible for medical licensure in Virginia required
\n
• Strong interest in delivering state-of-the-art care in community settings
\n

\n

Salary              

\n

Minimum Base -   $626,299

\n

Sign-on-           $35,000 with 2 year commitment

\n

Relocation       Up to $10,000 (receipt based)

\n

CME-  $4200

\n
