Hospitalist Physician

A reputable healthcaresystem in Hudson, Florida is seeking a Locums Hospitalist Physician to provideinpatient medical coverage for an established hospital medicine program. Thisopportunity offers the chance to work alongside a collaborative team of physicians,advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and specialists in apatient-focused environment.

The ideal candidate will becomfortable managing a broad spectrum of adult inpatient medical conditions andcoordinating care across multiple disciplines to ensure optimal patientoutcomes.

Clinical Responsibilities

Perform inpatient admissions, evaluations,and daily rounding

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medicalconditions

Develop and implement evidence-basedtreatment plans

Coordinate care with consulting physicians,specialists, nursing staff, and ancillary departments

Manage patient discharges and transitions ofcare

Respond to changes in patient condition andmedical emergencies as needed

Maintain accurate and timely documentationwithin the electronic medical record

Participate in multidisciplinary careplanning and quality initiatives

Qualifications

MD or DO required

Board Certified or Board Eligible in InternalMedicine or Family Medicine

Active Florida medical license required orability to obtain

Current DEA registration required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
