I&C Engineer

Salary: USD100000 - USD150000 per annum We're seeking an experienced Controls & Instrumentation Lead to oversee and drive the successful execution of capital projects from concept through completion. This individual will work closely with clients to define project requirements, lead the instrumentation and controls scope, and ensure engineering deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead all controls and instrumentation activities throughout the project lifecycle, from initial planning through execution and startup. Define, develop, and document project scope, schedules, and deliverables. Specify and size instrumentation including pressure and temperature transmitters, flow meters, control valves, regulators, actuators, and related devices. Develop instrumentation datasheets and coordinate with vendors to obtain pricing and technical proposals. Partner with process engineering teams to select appropriate instrumentation and control solutions. Create loop drawings, schematics, termination diagrams, and other instrumentation documentation. Design custom control panels tailored to project requirements. Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and identify scope changes throughout execution. Serve as a primary client interface, ensuring expectations are understood and successfully met. Review engineering deliverables for quality, accuracy, and compliance with project objectives. Coordinate implementation activities, track project progress, and support commissioning and startup efforts. Build strong client relationships through technical expertise, responsiveness, and consistent project delivery. Ideal Background We're looking for a technically strong engineer who enjoys working directly with clients, leading projects, and delivering practical solutions. The ideal candidate is collaborative, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of both technical execution and project success. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. 10+ years of controls, instrumentation, or project engineering experience within an EPC, consulting engineering, or industrial environment. Hands-on experience supporting major capital projects through design, construction, commissioning, and startup. Proven ability to manage projects from initiation through completion while maintaining budget, schedule, and client satisfaction. Strong understanding of front-end engineering design (FEED) and detailed engineering processes. Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating with clients and vendors. Working knowledge of AutoCAD. PLC programming experience is a plus. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both clients and internal teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr Lvi-Associates
