In addition, you would work with an experienced team which provides you with the opportunity to learn new industry skills every day.ResponsibilitiesAssistswith the coordination of assigned trade contractors and fieldactivities to helpmaintainschedule compliance and orderly executiondailyWorks in strict accordance with contract documents, drawings, specifications, and approved work plans for assigned scopesSupports all site safety protocols andparticipatesin safety orientations, observations, and field safety activities under the direction of senior field leadershipStays informed of daily field activities and monitors work in progress to support compliance with approved work plansMaintainsaccuratedaily reports and field documentation usingconstruction management software, and supports safety audits, observations, and documentation usingsafety and site operations softwareSupports enforcement of safety and quality control policies and promptlyescalatesconcerns to senior field supervisionMonitors work for compliance with plans, specifications, safety requirements, and quality standardsAttends andparticipatesin project meetings asrequiredto support communication and coordinationAssistsin tracking craft productivity, labor hours, and production quantities, and reports variances to senior field leadershipAssistswith workforce coordination, basic forecasting activities,field data collection,and quantification of basic labor, material, and equipment needsEstablishes andmaintainscredibility with Owners, trade contractors, unions, and field personnel through professional, respectful, and trustworthy conductPromotes sustainability practices, housekeeping standards, and environmental compliance on the jobsiteQualificationsEXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONBachelor’s orMaster’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management1 -3 years of experience in a field leadership/supervisor level construction role; 3- 8 years construction experience OSHA 10 certified with the ability to obtain an OSHA 30 certification within 3 months of hireOrequivalent combination of education and experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESStrong technical and communication skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to work in a team environmentProficient in Microsoft Office,safety and site operations software, andconstruction management softwareKnowledge of construction-documenting and drawing, with knowledge of all phases of construction Knowledge in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling, cost control, and forecastingStrong labor relations with union and non-union engagementAbility to create a “safety first” environment by showing a commitment to Zero Injury principles and sustainability practicesSalary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.For Upstate New York this ranges from $65,000.00 -$95,000.00 plus benefits and retirement program.Next 150 Construction Services has an unwavering focus on safety, the environment and caring about everyone involved in our work.
