Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Three 12-Hour Shifts per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed ICU with patient ratios of 2:1 to 3:1
• Perform and manage telemetry monitoring, BiPAP/CPAP management, therapeutic phlebotomy, and paracentesis assistance
• Operate and document using Philips Telemetry, Baxter pumps, iMobile, ventilators, and glucometers within the Meditech Expanse documentation system
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including CNCs, RNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs to deliver high-quality patient care
• Float as needed to PCU, 3rd floor, or ED per unit floating policy
• Adhere to dress code requirements (navy or gray scrubs) and all unit-specific policies and guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing; Kentucky license or Compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in a hospital setting
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Current NIH Stroke Scale certification (must be certified annually)
• Proficiency with CPap/BiPap management, port access, and therapeutic phlebotomy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with chest tubes, NG tubes, wound vac, and surgical drains
• Proficiency with central lines, blood transfusions, ventilator management, and post-dialysis assessment
• Prior experience working in a Magnet-designated or Joint Commission-accredited facility
