MRI Technologist Coordinator

The MRI Technologist Coordinator leads daily MRI department operations, ensuring high-quality imaging and regulatory compliance. The role supports staff, performs advanced imaging procedures, and maintains a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily workflow and scheduling within the MRI department
• Perform MRI scans following physician orders and established protocols
• Supervise, train, and support MRI technologists and staff
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, including MRI safety and infection control
• Maintain quality assurance and ensure optimal image quality
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and leadership teams
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance as needed
• Manage inventory and ensure adequate supplies are available
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Assist with departmental planning, process improvement, and staff development

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• ARRT certification in Radiography required
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• Active Kansas state licensure (if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• Strong knowledge of MRI systems, protocols, and safety procedures
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and team collaboration

Preferred Skills:

• Minimum of 3+ years of MRI Technologist experience preferred
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
