- Handle plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, HVAC maintenance, carpentry, and general property upkeep.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Assist with property upgrades and renovations as needed.
- Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Work with vendors and contractors for larger projects or specialized repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants and property managers.
- Document all maintenance work and complete required reports.
- Basic set of hand and electric tools
- Proven experience in property maintenance or a related field.
- Comfortably utilizing a smart phone
- Pass a background check and drug screen
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Flexibility to respond to emergency calls outside of regular business hours.
- Comfortability with climbing ladders, inspecting roofs, and entering attics or crawl spaces.
- Working in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair various mechanical and electrical systems.
