Job Overview Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Albany, NY. This is a 3‑month assignment (possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top‑tier healthcare organization! Location: Albany, NY Duration: 03 months Contract (possibilities of extension) Schedule: Mon‑Fri 7a‑4p every other Saturday 7a‑11a Payrate: $19‑22/hr on W2. Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications. Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) Responsibilities Represents the face of our company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life‑defining health decisions. Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures. Directly interacts with patients, creates an atmosphere of trust, explains procedures, and draws blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner. Demonstrates Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence, sensitivity to confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information. May be assigned to a doctor’s office, a patient service center, or as business needs dictate. Under the direction of the area supervisor, performs daily activities accurately and on time. Provides quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment. Works independently with minimal on‑site supervision. Possesses excellent phlebotomy skills, including paediatric and geriatric. Is flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on‑call, and overtime. Requirements Ability to provide quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington). Experience Minimum of 6 months experience. One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
