Digital, Data, IP & Technology Associate

Overview The Digital, Data, IP and Technology practice advises clients across all stages of business regarding technology products and services, provides opinions on intellectual property and commercial issues, and drafts and negotiates agreements for intellectual property licensing (including content, data, LLMs), alliances, partnerships, joint ventures, outsourcings, and supply and distribution. The practice has strong experience with new and emerging technologies, including hardware, software, and AI-based technologies. The role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements, such as technology licenses, joint ventures, and strategic alliances. Responsibilities include supporting corporate transactions involving technology and IP assets, including mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and post-closing integration. The associate will assist with product counseling, analyze emerging legal issues in the technology sector with a focus on AI, and monitor/communicate legal and regulatory trends in technology, data, AI, and IP to clients and internal stakeholders. Candidates must possess previous Corporate Technology Transactions experience, gained either at a firm or in-house.
