Project Manager - Capital ProjectsThis position is responsible for executing project scrubs for assigned projects from across the Entergy Enterprise. Conducts SME interviews and works with project team to develop initial hypotheses and required analyses. Present PowerPoint during problem solving sessions and create fact basis presentation. Works with Scrub Execution to facilitate scrub workshops. Assists with sizing potential value of workshop-generated opportunities. Accountable for ensuring quality deliverables within established timeframes to maintain scrub schedule.Minimum education required of the position. Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field OR 4 years of equivalent/related work experience (in addition to Minimum Experience requirement) in lieu of degree. Minimum experience required of the position. Project Manager: 2+ years of experience in Project Management, Construction Management, Electric Utility Industry, or related field Project Manager Sr: 4+ years of experience in Project Management, Construction Management, Electric Utility Industry, or related field Project Manager, Sr Lead: 6+ years of experience in Project Management, Construction Management, Electric Utility Industry, or related field Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities required of the position. History of safe performance, active safety involvement and participation and strong desire for a safer workplace. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Possess excellent presentation skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and project management applications, processes, software and equipment. Knowledge of project management principles and effective estimating practices. Understanding of Industry Best Practices. Demonstrated cross-functional project leadership experience, team performance skills, service mindset approach, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor. Preferred: PMP (Project Management Professional certification)
