Assert Motion Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our collaborative team in Newport Beach, California. This full-time position is designed for a professional who is passionate about helping patients regain mobility and improve their overall quality of life. As an integral part of our practice, you will work closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that focus on restoration of movement and effective management of orthopedic conditions.

Assert Motion Physical Therapy is a premier orthopedic outpatient center located in the heart of Newport Beach. Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with cutting-edge sports medicine technology. Our practice is physical therapist-owned, and we prioritize patient-centered care, serving primarily those with private medical insurance. Our team currently includes two highly skilled physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), ensuring a supportive and collaborative working environment.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite in our modern facility, which features dedicated treatment areas designed to provide a comfortable and efficient environment for therapeutic interventions. Your work schedule will be from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance while allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to understand each patient's medical history, physical capabilities, and personal goals.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing evidence-based interventions and a variety of treatment techniques.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, providing individualized attention to enhance recovery and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques to improve patients' range of motion and reduce pain.
• Develop tailored fitness and wellness programs that address the unique needs of each patient and encourage maintenance of their health.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation to prevent reliance on medications and explore effective non-surgical treatment options.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly and adjust plans as necessary to ensure patient progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and share insights regarding patient management.
• Document every aspect of patient care meticulously to maintain accurate health records and facilitate effective communication across the healthcare team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice specializes in treating patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain. You will work with a diverse range of clients, helping each individual achieve their personal health goals through tailored therapy sessions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid California license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to develop exercise protocols.
• Proficient with WebPT EMR Software, facilitating efficient documentation and patient management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for effective patient engagement and teamwork.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, particularly those who showcase a history of successful patient outcomes in similar clinical environments. Knowledge of the latest rehabilitation practices and continuing education in physical therapy will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, which reflects experience and qualifications.
