I opened my agency in 2004 after building 14 years of experience in sales. That background taught me the importance of strong relationships, consistent effort, and taking ownership of your results - all values that continue to shape how I lead the agency today. I’m a graduate of Lincoln University and a proud dad of three kids, all age 10 and under. Being involved in our local community is incredibly important to me. I coach my kids’ soccer teams and our agency supports local families and youth through PTA events, the YMCA, youth sports, and high school football sponsorships. We’ve also helped cover unpaid school meal balances because we believe in stepping up where we can make a meaningful difference. Travis Smith - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. If you thrive in a supportive role and are eager to learn and grow within the insurance industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members. Manage appointment scheduling and office communications. Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records. Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options. Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs. Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role. Communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational and multitasking abilities. Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
