Accounts Payable SpecialistLocation: Centennial, CO (hybrid, in-office)Pay rate: $25-28/hr, DOEBenefits: Eligible for health, dental, vision and 401K.We are seeking a highly organized and self-sufficient Accounts Payable Specialist to serve as the sole AP function for our client's organization. This role requires someone comfortable operating independently in a high-volume environment.Responsibilities:Process full-cycle accounts payable for approximately 300–400 invoices per week, including purchase order-based invoicesProcess payments via ACH, check, credit card, and wirePerform 2-way and 3-way matching against purchase ordersCode invoices to the correct GL accountsPost transactions to journals, ledgers, and other accounting recordsTrack expenses and process expense reports, including related journal entriesOwn and manage the AP inbox, including vendor communication regarding discrepancies, documentation, and general inquiriesResearch and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues with vendorsReconcile vendor statements for key vendorsManage new vendor setup and ongoing vendor maintenanceMaintain vendor records, deactivate inactive vendors, and support the overall vendor setup processProvide vendor-facing customer service and supportPerform account reconciliations in Excel (typically 20–100 lines of data weekly)Provide month-end close supportEnsure accurate and timely close of the payables module in the ERP systemReview the AP aging report weekly to prepare payment proposalsMeet with the Accounting Manager to analyze outstanding vendor payments and prioritize invoices for processingSchedule payment timing/method for prioritized invoices and maintain notes on lower-priority itemsRequirements:2+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience in a high-volume or standalone AP roleExperience with 2-way/3-way PO matchingPrior experience with Great Plains, or similar ERP systems preferredStrong Excel skills, including reconciliation work with moderate-to-large data setsExcellent organizational skills and ability to independently prioritize and manage competing deadlinesAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
