Swing Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician

A manufacturing facility in Georgetown, SC is looking for an Swing Shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic looking to interview candidates ASAP. This role is fast paced and demanding. This company is growing quickly and willing to train for upward progression. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. This role will operate off the 1st/3rd Swing shift schedule. You will swing between days and nights every week to two weeks. Electrical Maintenance is required!!

salary: $58,239.99 - $70,719.99 per year

Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electronic systems and machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical and electronic issues in machinery, equipment, and systems, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.

• Repair Work: Conduct repairs on a variety of equipment, including PLCs, motors, sensors, and control systems.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other maintenance team members and departments to coordinate repairs and improve system performance.

• Upgrades and Modifications: Assist in the installation and upgrading of new electronic equipment and systems, providing technical support and training as needed.

• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 60lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
• working weekends

Skills

• Industrial Maintenance (3 years of experience is preferred)
• Electrical Troubleshooting (5 years of experience is preferred)
• PLC Experience (4 years of experience is preferred)
• Mechanical Maintenance (4 years of experience is preferred)
• Electronic Maintenance (3 years of experience is preferred)
• Hydraulic Maintenance (4 years of experience is preferred)
