A Production Operator is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment, assembling products, and ensuring that production processes run efficiently, safely, and according to quality standards. This role supports daily production goals while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures
- Assemble, inspect, and package products to meet quality requirements
- Perform routine adjustments and minor troubleshooting on equipment
- Follow production schedules to meet output and efficiency targets
- Conduct quality checks and report defects or inconsistencies
- Maintain accurate production records and logs as required
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, procedures, and company policies
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve production issues
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Familiarity with safety standards in industrial settings
- Ability to use basic measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Manufacturing/industrial setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
- May require shift work, including nights and weekends depending on production needs
