SAP S/4HANA Financial Implementation Consultant - EXPERT

Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid)

Level : Expert

Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a government Secret clearance.

Job Summary:

Montcure, LLC is seeking a SAP S/4HANA Financial Implementation Consultant Expert to provide enterprise-level architectural leadership and direct large-scale, full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) migrations for federal and commercial clients. The successful candidate will serve as the lead solution architect, set delivery standards, lead end-to-end migration programs, and mentor senior and junior consultants while ensuring that delivered solutions are compliant, sustainable, and aligned with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Strategy

• Serve as lead solution architect, defining the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance (FI/CO) architecture and migration strategy for large-scale programs.
• Establish design standards and governance across General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, and Profitability Analysis.
• Architect the Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New Asset Accounting, parallel ledgers, and cross-module integration (MM, SD, PS).

Program & Migration Leadership

• Lead large-scale, full-lifecycle migration programs end to end using the SAP Activate methodology.
• Own data migration strategy, cutover planning, and risk management across complex enterprise landscapes.
• Direct multiple delivery workstreams and technical/ABAP teams; set delivery standards and quality gates.

Client Leadership & Governance

• Act as the senior client-facing advisor, leading executive workshops and driving strategic decisions.
• Mentor Senior and Journeyman consultants and build organizational SAP delivery capability.
• Ensure enterprise solutions meet client and federal financial compliance and control requirements.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• Master’s degree and/or advanced SAP certification(s) strongly preferred.

Experience:

• 15+ years of SAP FI/CO experience with multiple full-lifecycle S/4HANA implementations, including leading a large-scale full migration.
• Demonstrated experience serving as the lead solution architect on enterprise-scale programs.
• Expert-level command of the Universal Journal (ACDOCA), New Asset Accounting, parallel ledgers, and cross-module integration.
• Extensive experience leading executive workshops, directing multiple workstreams, and mentoring senior staff; federal/public-sector implementation experience strongly preferred.

Skills:

• Authoritative understanding of financial accounting and controlling business processes.
• Expert proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Finance solution architecture and enterprise migration design.
• Mastery of the SAP Activate methodology, data migration tooling, cutover planning, and integration testing.
• Proven program leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to provide enterprise architectural leadership across a large-scale migration program in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Status: Contingent – This work is contingent on award

Salary Range: $175,000 – $210,000
