Role Description The Service Assistant is a full-time, hybrid role based in Robertsdale, AL, with travel to paper plants for service work. The person in this role supports daily customer service operations, including responding to customer inquiries, coordinating service requests, and helping ensure customer satisfaction with manufactured equipment. Typical tasks include and emails, preparing and updating service records, assisting with scheduling, and supporting administrative processes such as documentation and data entry. The Service Assistant collaborates with internal teams in the machine shop to relay customer needs, and provide accurate, timely information. This role requires consistent, professional communication and an organized approach to balancing office responsibilities with remote work tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Experience in Customer Service and a focus on Customer Satisfaction when handling inquiries and resolving issues.
• Competence in Administrative Assistance, including data entry, documentation, scheduling, and record-keeping.
• Basic computer proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and office software; ability to learn internal systems.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and time management skills in a fast-paced service and manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Robertsdale, AL and travel to plants as needed.
• Prior experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or service-oriented setting is beneficial but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or coursework in business administration or customer service is a plus.
