Non-Invasive Cardiology Physician opening in OH Located in Portsmouth, OH Full-Time, PermanentSouthern Ohio Medical Center is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join its established hospital-employed Heart & Vascular practice. This opportunity offers a 7-on/7-off schedule, strong compensation options, loan repayment, sign-on bonus, teaching opportunities, and a well-supported cardiology team. Hospital-employed Non-Invasive Cardiology opportunity 7 days on / 7 days off schedule Potential for a 14/14 schedule 26 weeks/year plus 34 paid days off/annually. Inpatient consults/cardiac exams at the main hospital Outpatient clinic located on the hospital's main campus Join an established Heart & Vascular team with 5 physicians and 9 APPs Support includes clinical staff, EKG techs, LPNs, CMAs, surgery schedulers, and surgery assistants Clinic volume: approximately 10 patients per day Procedures: approximately 4-6 per day Inpatient volume based on hospital census On call 24/7 during working week, with additional call-pay opportunity Teaching opportunities with medical students, residents, and APP trainees Eligible for Clinical Adjunct Faculty status with Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine 248-bed not-for-profit hospital with 250,000 service area and 300+ medical staff Compensation & Recruitment Package: Base salary option 1: $590,985 , guaranteed for 2 years, with added compensation for experience Base salary option 2: $724,177 , guaranteed for 1 year, then transition to wRVU production Sign-on bonus up to $100,000 Loan repayment up to $200,000 Residency stipend up to $25,000 Moving expense: $10,000 Bonus incentives up to 10% of salary Additional call compensation available 5% salary adjustment for candidates not yet boarded, adjusted upon board certification Job Qualifications: MD or DO Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology Fellowship trained in Non-Invasive Cardiology Eligible for Ohio medical licensure Benefits: 29 PTO days, with additional PTO available based on productivity 5 CME days plus up to $5,000 CME allowance Health insurance Malpractice coverage 403(b) retirement plan with employer match up to 2% of base pay 457(b) deferred compensation plan Portsmouth, Ohio offers a community-focused setting along the Ohio River with access to regional amenities, outdoor recreation, and a lower cost of living.
