Quick Facts Location: Los Angeles, CA (Mission Hills) Start Date: 08/19/2026 Duration: Ongoing Shift: 12-hour inpatient shifts (7am–7pm or 7pm–7am) Hours/Week: 12 shifts per month Employment Type: Locum License/Certifications: Active California Medical License, DEA, ACLS & BLS Experience: Board Certified or eligible within 6 years of residency Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $1.00 Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, travel, and other reimbursements Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws What You’ll Do Provide inpatient OB-GYN care in a hospital setting, including labor and delivery management Perform surgical procedures such as C-sections and management of spontaneous abortions Oversee low- and high-risk OB patient labor Assist private physicians with planned and unplanned C-sections Support unassigned OB and GYN emergency department patients Collaborate with Laborist and Perinatology teams for complex cases Ensure high standards of safety and patient care What You Need California Medical License (Active) DEA certification Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology ACLS & BLS certifications Willingness to work both day and night shifts About the Assignment Join a leading hospital in Los Angeles, CA, supporting a busy 10 labor and delivery rooms, 8 antepartum, and 18 postpartum rooms. The unit has two dedicated ORs, offering comprehensive obstetric care including surgical management of c-sections and emergency interventions.
