Job Description Job Title: Behavioral Healthcare Provider 2 (LISW/LPCC/IMFT) – Job Numbers 20025806 & 20025799 – (260003Y1) Organization: Rehabilitation & Correction – Pickaway Correctional Institution Location: Pickaway Correctional Institution, 11781 State Route 762, Orient, 43146, Ohio, USA Salary: $68,000 (starting pay approximately $62,000 based on location) Schedule: Full-time Union: 1199 Primary Job Skill: Behavioral Health Technical Skills: Basic Documentation, Programming, Behavioral Health, Professional Responsibilities Complete detailed mental health screens, evaluations, and crisis services including suicide watch assessments within scope of practice. Provide clinical direction to lower-level workers. Serve as treatment team coordinator. Conduct advanced practice individual and group clinical interventions as prescribed on individual mental health treatment plans, using strategies within scope of practice and directed by supervisor. Provide clinical case management services to an assigned caseload, including monitoring offender compliance with the mental health treatment plan. Complete psychosocial needs and treatment assessments as part of interdisciplinary treatment planning. Consult with institution staff regarding the inmate’s institutional adjustment and service needs. Initiate and maintain contact with families and community agencies. Seek and provide information relative to patient care and treatment. Make appropriate community and re‑entry referrals per mental health treatment team. Write reports and documentation including inmate contact logs, clinical case management progress notes, discharge plans, and other required forms. Attend meetings with supervision. Attend in-service training sessions and workshops for professional development. Participate in peer review as assigned. Qualifications Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) by the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board. Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) by the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board. Licensed Independent Marriage & Family Therapist (IMFT) by the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
