Sonographer ARDMS

We are currently seeking an energetic Sonographer (or Ultrasound Technologist) on a full-time basis. If you share our passion and vision, we invite you to apply now!

Your tasks and responsibilities as a Sonographer include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe, competent manner


• Accurately perform sonogram examinations in a timely manner


• Be responsible for recording and processing ultrasound images


• Maintain statistical results for quality improvement


• Maintain proactive and effective communication with radiologists regarding any unusual clinical findings, history, and/or test results

Qualifications

• A two-year Allied Health degree or successful completion of a 12-month CAAHEP approved program


• Valid ARDMS certification required: RVT (Registered Vascular Tech) or ARDMS AB (abdomen specialty) or ARDMS OB/GYN within 1 year

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification


• 1-3 years previous experience as an Ultrasound Technologist


• Other skills needed: organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, clerical, basic computer, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, reading, comprehension of written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions
