Elite Spine & Orthopedics is seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing team in Odessa, FL. We specialize in orthopaedics and pain management and are committed to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Position Details:

• Full-time (approximately 40 hours/week)
• Monday – Friday (no weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during patient examinations and procedures
• Room patients and obtain vital signs (height, weight, blood pressure, pulse, etc.)
• Accurately document patient information in the EMR system
• Ensure all labs, imaging, and reports are uploaded and reviewed prior to appointments
• Complete and manage paperwork (disability forms, prior authorizations, etc.)
• Provide patient education and follow physician instructions for care plans
• Prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments and exam rooms
• Maintain proper stock levels of medical supplies
• Handle phone calls, messages, and coordinate communication with patients and pharmacies
• Cross-train to support other roles within the office as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinic or physician’s office
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with EMR systems preferred
