Pay: $21 - $23 an hour depending on experience

Smokehouse Operator Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $21.00 to $23.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- Weekend work required
- Third Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00pm to 03:30am )
- Set up and operate smokehouse machinery, load and transfer meat products, and monitor temperature, humidity, smoking times, and airflow to ensure proper processing.
- Inspect products for quality and consistency, record processing data, and follow HACCP, USDA, FDA, GMP, and company food safety standards.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, perform routine equipment checks, report issues, and collaborate with team members to meet production goals while following safety policies.
Smokehouse Operator Qualifications:
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot smokehouse equipment; forklift experience and basic computer skills preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions, production schedules, and safety procedures.
- Reliable team player with strong communication skills and work ethic, able to perform in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and read and write basic English or Spanish.
