What You’ll Do As a Litigation Attorney, you'll manage a meaningful caseload while working alongside a collaborative, high‑performing team. Responsibilities include: Managing employment litigation matters from pre‑litigation through resolution Conducting case evaluations and developing litigation strategy Taking and defending depositions Drafting and arguing motions Managing written discovery and discovery strategy Attending mediations, settlement conferences, and court appearances Working with experts and preparing cases for trial Advising and communicating with clients throughout litigation Mentoring paralegals and litigation support staff while delegating administrative work appropriately Helping strengthen and expand one of California's fastest‑growing plaintiff employment practices What We’re Looking For We're seeking attorneys who combine strong legal skills with sound judgment and a genuine passion for advocacy. Preferred qualifications: Active member of the California Bar in good standing 5+ years of California employment litigation experience (plaintiff or defense) Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload Significant experience taking and defending depositions Strong law and motion practice Excellent negotiation and mediation skills Exceptional legal writing and oral advocacy Highly organized with strong case management abilities Team‑oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement Trial experience is a plus but not required.
