Data Engineer III

Job Responsibilities:

• Dealing with large scale data sets, transferring data across Client, executing data pipelines, monitoring, and resolving any issues that arise, and keeping stakeholders up to date on any progresses or delays.

Skills:

• Technical skills: Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, knowledge of data storage solutions.
• Data Management: Data preprocessing and cleaning, transformation and formatting, data quality control and validation Communication - effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and team members Strongly prefer Contractor with prior experience supporting data efforts at Client, as this would enable them to leverage their existing knowledge of Client's internal tools and processes, facilitating a faster onboarding process and more effective contribution to the AI CSAM mitigation efforts.
• Top 3 Must-Have HARD skills: Pipelines, SQL, Python, ETL, Data Curation, Familiarity with UNIX.
• Good to have Skills: Ability to be a self-starter, have a sense of prioritization, able to maintain needed timeframes.

Education/Experience:

• : 4-5 years of experience in data processing and management, with a strong background in building and maintaining data pipelines, data preprocessing and cleaning, and data quality control.
• Prior experience supporting data efforts at Client is highly preferred.
• The Contractor will support efforts to run CSAM filtering on image and video datasets leveraged by AI research teams. The goal is to proactively mitigate potential risks associated with these datasets.
• Specifically, the Contractor will assist in the following tasks: Preprocessing: converting original datasets into a format that can be consumed by CSAM filtering pipelines.
