Thompson First Group is seeking an entry level  Production Sorter for a temporary to hire opportunity for a local client in  Aston, PA.

The purpose of the production worker is to produce rubberized hair cushions, foam dunnage, and fabricated metal parts using a variety of techniques while adhering to the ISO:9001 standard. 

Responsibilities:

·        Participate in all steps of the rubberized hair cushion production process

·        Participate in all steps of foam dunnage production processes

·        Fabricate metal parts and other products

·        Retrieve steel molds from inventory for production and return to inventory as required

·        Thoroughly clean area at end of shift

·        Trim, weigh, label, bag, and pack finished cushions

·        Operate a forklift to move material within warehouse

·        Maintain good housekeeping

·        Meet or exceed production deadlines by managing time accordingly

·        Contribute in 5S events on a consistent basis to eliminate waste

·        Conduct peer to peer quality inspections on all work in process

·        Complete other duties assigned by Manager

Shift: Monday through Thursday - 6:00am to 4:30pm. Voluntary overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays.
