Speech Language Pathologist

Role Description The Speech Language Pathologist is a full-time, on-site role based in St Joseph, MI. This role involves providing speech and language assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based therapy for individuals with a variety of communication and swallowing needs. Daily responsibilities include conducting evaluations, documenting progress, collaborating with behavior specialists and other interdisciplinary team members, and engaging families or caregivers in treatment planning and home programming. The Speech Language Pathologist will also participate in care coordination, maintain accurate clinical records, and contribute to ongoing program development to support high-quality, person-centered services. Qualifications Ability to provide comprehensive Speech Therapy, including assessment, treatment planning, and intervention. Skills in evaluating and treating Communication Disorders and Language Disorders across diverse populations. Experience in managing Dysphagia and related swallowing disorders safely and effectively. Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program. Strong interpersonal, documentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in an interdisciplinary, behavior-focused environment. Commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice and a person-centered, culturally responsive approach to care.
